Job Responsibilities
- Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to all guests
- Take and serve food and beverage orders promptly and according to service manual
- Do all necessary setup of service areas before opening and clean-up of service areas after closing
- Maintain cleanliness and mise en place level at working station and service pantry for smooth operation
- Keep the working area clean and tidy at all times
- Participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses
- Follow all relevant health department regulations
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a full-service restaurant, preferably in a hotel setting
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Familiarity with cash registers and order information systems (e.g., Revel POS or Toast POS)
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- Customer service attitude along with the ability to engage with guests
- Eligibility to receive visa sponsorship
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma; diploma from a vocational school in hospitality or a
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality or tourism management is advantageous
- Relevant training and experience as a Waiter/Waitress
