3. Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
4. Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
5. Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
6. Order supplies and equipment.
7. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
8. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
9. Clean kitchen and work areas.
10. Manage kitchen operations.

Job Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an ethnic food cook, particularly in Mandarin cuisine.
2. Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other programs in cooking, or
3. several years of commercial cooking experience may be required.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
6. Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an asset.
7. Eligibility and readiness to undergo the visa sponsorship process.
8. Education and Experience:
9. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
   Formal culinary training or apprenticeship is an asset.
