Job Responsibilities:

  1. Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  2. Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
  3. Monitor financial transactions and reports.
  4. Process accounts receivable and payable while ensuring timely payment of invoices.
  5. Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
  6. Comply with federal, provincial, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada, with visa sponsorship available for international candidates.

Education and Qualification:

  1. BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
  2. Proven working experience as a Bookkeeper.
  3. Training in accounting software may be required.
