As a Cashier at Lulu Hypermarket Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient transactions for our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or other electronic devices
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Scan items, collect payments, and issue receipts
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with inventory management by replenishing stocks as needed
- Provide product information and assistance to customers when required
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security protocols
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Cashier or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with operating cash registers or other electronic devices is an advantage
- Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required
