Responsibilities:

1. Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops following established procedures
2. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
3. Monitor crop health and apply fertilizers or pesticides as needed
4. Assist with irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of crops
5. Maintain cleanliness of the farm by removing weeds or debris
6. Assist with the maintenance and repair of farm structures and equipment
7. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
8. Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals

Requirements:

• Prior experience working on a farm is preferred but not required
• A valid work permit or eligibility for visa sponsorship in Canada
• Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, stooping, etc.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• A strong work ethic with excellent time management skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Familiarity with agricultural practices is an asset but not mandatory
