Job Description:

As a Room Attendant at TownePlace Suites by Marriott West Kelowna, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, providing exceptional service, and upholding our hotel’s high standards.

Qualification & Experience:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, replenishing amenities, and ensuring cleanliness and order.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost and found items to the appropriate department.
• Adhere to hotel policies and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Restock and organize cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient room turnover.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Valid work authorization or eligibility for a work permit in Canada.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is an advantage.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform cleaning tasks.
• Customer-focused attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Marriott’s service standards is a plus.
