Job Description:
As a Room Attendant at TownePlace Suites by Marriott West Kelowna, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, providing exceptional service, and upholding our hotel’s high standards.
Qualification & Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, replenishing amenities, and ensuring cleanliness and order.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost and found items to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to hotel policies and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Restock and organize cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient room turnover.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Valid work authorization or eligibility for a work permit in Canada.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is an advantage.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform cleaning tasks.
- Customer-focused attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Marriott’s service standards is a plus.
